Why Can't I See the Water Pump Working?
  • The pump automatically turns on and off every 30 minutes. You may be observing it during anoff cycle.
  • The device is equipped with a silent water pump that operates quietly.
  • Check if roots are entangled around the pump. lf so, remove them carefully. lf not, pleasecontact us directly.

How can l check if the water pump is working?

Add water to the tank until it reaches the level of the water pump and exposes the bent pipe. Turn on the water pump and check if there is water flow.

What should I do if the sponge gets moldy?

Mold is a normal occurrence. You can use a clean cloth to wipe off the moldy areas. If the seeds have not sprouted and the sponge is moldy, we recommend replacing it with a new sponge.

Why are the seeds not sprouting?
  • The seeds may have been stored for too long and are expired.
  • The seeds may not be suitable for the current season or temperature.
  • Hard-shelled seeds may require soaking in water for 12 hours and breaking the shell (e.g., coriander seeds).
  • Low environmental temperatures may cause the seeds to remain dormant.

What should I do if the plant’s growth height exceeds the light board?
  • During the plant's growth, it is necessary to prune excess branches and leaves to promote better growth.
  • When the plant’s height exceeds the light board, you can trim the top branches and leaves or transplant the plant into a flower pot.

What should I do if strawberries do not bear fruit?

During the flowering stage, strawberries require manual pollination using a pollination brush. Maintain the temperature between 12-22℃.

Why are the plant roots rotting?
  • Plant roots are not suited for prolonged immersion in water. If water is frequently added and the water level remains at Max for an extended period, the roots may lack oxygen and get rotten. Allowing some roots to be exposed to air promotes healthier root growth.
  • After adding water 3 times, the salt content in the nutrient solution may accumulate in the tank, leading to high salinity, which could cause root rot. We recommend changing water and re-adding the nutrient solution according to the correct ratio.

Are the plants grown with this system healthy and natural? What kinds of plants can it grow?

Our indoor vegetable growing system uses full-spectrum grow lights that simulate natural sunlight. You can choose between two lighting modes—Vegetable or Flower & Fruit—based on the type of plant you are growing. The Vegetable mode is ideal for the germination and growth stages, while the Flower & Fruit mode is suitable for flowering and fruit-bearing stages.

Why Do Seeds Become Moldy During Germination?
  • If the temperature is not suitable and the seeds fail to germinate in time, they may rot and become moldy. In this case, we recommend replacing them with new seeds promptly.
  • Mold is a type of light-loving algae that grows on the surface of the sponge. To reduce mold growth, use the seed pod label sticker to cover the seed pod and block light.
  • Note: The sponge is for single use only. You can purchase replacement grow sponges from our store.

Regular harvesting helps keep your garden healthy, but do not harvest more than one-third of the plant at a time.

What Should I Do If the Leaves Turn Yellow?

Yellowing leaves are usually caused by either a lack or an excess of nutrients. In this case, pour out all the water and refill the tank with fresh water and A&B nutrients.

How often should I add nutrients?
  • No nutrients are needed before seed germination. After germination, ensure the water level reaches the MAX (3L) mark and add 15ml of Nutrient A and 15ml of Nutrient B for the first time.
  • You can check the water level weekly. If it drops quickly, refill with water and nutrients.
  • For every 1L of water added, add 5ml of Nutrient A and 5ml of Nutrient B.

Why is algae growing in the water tank?

During the planting process, if light enters the water tank, algae may grow. We recommend covering unused planting holes with hole covers to prevent this issue.

  • Cover unused planting holes with hole covers to block light from entering the water tank.
  • Avoid placing the device in areas with direct sunlight, such as windowsills.
  • Regularly change the water and clean the water tank.

How do I clean algae in the water tank?

After cleaning the device thoroughly, soak it in 10% H2O2 solution for 48 hours, then rinse it clean before use.

After changing water, the tank is full but still shows a water shortage alert. What should I do?
  • The water pump requires 8 seconds to detect the water level. After 8 seconds, “Add Water” indicator will change from red to white.
  • Try unplugging and reconnecting the water pump. If it still shows a water shortage, please contact us, and we will provide you with a replacement water pump.

The water tank is leaking.
  • Rotate the silicone plug gently to ensure it fits tightly with the water tank. This should resolve the leakage issue.
  • Replace the silicone plug with a spare one.

How often should I change the water? How do I do it?

During plant growth, water change is usually not necessary. When the water level gets low, simply refill with water and nutrients. However, if the water turns green or smells bad, it must be replaced.
Steps:
(1) Remove the plug at the bottom of the water tank to drain the water.
(2) Reinsert the plug, place the planting platform back on the tank, then refill through the water inlet.
